Hi there! My name is Kyra, and I am the owner and instructor behind Studio Movement
Movement has always been a constant for me. I grew up dancing and performing, and I quickly learned how moving your body can shape confidence, creativity, and connection. With my roots in dance, I transitioned into teaching after graduating and immediately fell in LOVE! with the environment, leading groups, creating, and watching people come alive through movement, It became my outlet to play, express, feel grounded, and feel strong.
I currently teach dance out of Rosedale Valley Dance here in Lacombe, and I’m incredibly grateful to use their beautiful space to bring Studio Movement to life and continue growing my passion for teaching movement.
Studio Movement was born from my own journey. After navigating a hormonal struggle, I knew I needed movement that supported where my body was truly at. I found myself drawn to low-impact, high intensity, strength-focused workouts that helped me feel strong, balanced, and supported in a sustainable way. That experience shaped the heart of Studio Movement, intentional, feel-good movement designed to help you build confidence, strength, and deeper connection from the inside out.
My teaching style is calm, intentional, and form-focused. I care about helping people move well and feel good, understand their bodies, and build strength that lasts. I am Barre Instructor Certified and will be teaching classes that range from; full body barre workouts, cardio based centre floor, mat & core, and intentional feel good movement & stretch.
Studio Movement is an extension of everything I love; movement, creativity, teaching, and helping others feel strong, capable, and connected to their bodies.
Born and raised in Lacombe, so community means everything to me. My vision is a small, welcoming, intentional space with warm hearts and zero judgment , a place where you can show up exactly as you are and enjoy movement that truly feels good!
